Fried Ice Cream from Denise


1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream (I use the kind in a box as it is easiest to just slice up and put in pan)
4 cups Corn Flakes, crushed to 2 cups
1 stick of butter, melted
1 cup sugar
1 cup coconut
 
Mix corn flake crumbs, butter, sugar, & coconut and put 1/2 of the mixture in the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan (I usually use a jelly roll pan instead - slightly bigger and not as deep).  Soften ice cream and spread over mixture.  Cover ice cream with remaining mixture.   Freeze 2-3 hours.  Enjoy!
