Nicole's Fresh Salsa

1 16oz can diced tomato

1 16oz can diced tomato w/Mexican seasoning OR with lime & cilantro OR with chiles

1 8oz can tomato sauce

1 4oz can diced chiles OR for heat, jalapenos

1 large tomato

1 medium onion (red or white)

½ green pepper

3-4 cloves garlic

Medium handful cilantro

1 t oregano

1 t fresh lemon juice

Salt & pepper to taste


Coarsely chop tomato, onion, green pepper. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Scoop into blender or food processor and puree until desired consistency is reached (chunky or smooth). Alternately, skip the canned tomatoes & jalapenos and use all fresh, just up the number of tomatoes. Serve.
